Are you making the mistake of waiting for someone else to give you permission?
I don’t really like the word “mistake” because it really is just a chance to pivot or shift towards the direction you were aiming for in the first place.
But that’s just the thing… it’s a chance- an opportunity. So if you are doing what I am describing here, don’t feel bad.
- You are not alone
- It is very common for women to feel this way, especially moms or caretakers
- You can choose to learn from this and move forward if it resonates with you!
So, let’s get into it! Why you need to give yourself permission for “me-time.”
Self care is NOT selfish!
- It’s not selfish to invest in your wellness. When I say invest- I am talking about the investment of time, money, and energy
- It’s actually the most selfLESS act.
Here’s why….
When you allow or give yourself time to fill your cup up, YOU feel good…right?
When you feel good, you show up differently in your interactions & in your relationships.
It’s scientifically proven that your energy can effect the objects around you.
Simply put, feeling good means your energy is vibrating at a high level. All other living things, everything around you can feel that. I call this the “ripple effect”.
When you better YOUR state of wellness, you better the entire state of wellness of the planet.
This can also be explained with the Universal Law of Oneness. Basically, it states that everything is connected to everything else. What we think, say, do and believe will have a corresponding effect on others and the world around us.
TIP: Anytime you feel guilt or uncertainty in taking time for yourself to do the ‘work’, to give yourself permission to put on the face mask, to take 5 minutes to meditate or read your favorite book- remember The Universal Law of Oneness. When YOU feel good, YOU are not only benefiting yourself, but everything and everyone that is connected to you.
It’s the most SELFLESS thing to do
Affirmations:
REPEAT AFTER ME:
I give myself permission to feel good
I give myself permission to take time for what makes me feel good
I know that when I take time for myself, by giving myself love, care and attention, I am able to be the best version of me.
When I feel good, I create positive energy for others to feel good.
My positive energy is contagious
Have faith in your wellness….and if you can’t find or see that yet, I will hold the space for you to come and grow into it when you are ready,
Remember, YOU write the rules of how you live your life.
Here’s your permission slip to fill out and give yourself for self care. It’s time for you to do a little “me time!”
Fill that cup back up!
Love, Kellee
ps: My favorite way to start “new,” tap into intuition, AND learn new things about myself- is first thing in the morning- right when I wake up.
