Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s M A T C H A.
Matcha (meaning powdered tea) is actually made from tea leaves that have been stone-ground into powder.
So what is the hype?
Matcha contains the animo acid L-theanine. This amino acid complements the caffeine content and helps to keep energy and focus without the jitters. Matcha is also rich in antioxidants (aka polyphenols) which can help stabilize blood sugar levels.
Matcha can provide you with:
- More stable energy
- Less jittery anxiety (compared to coffee’s caffeine reactions)
- Mental clarity
- Increased ability to focus/concentrate
- Memory improvements
Doesn’t green tea do the same thing?
Yes and no.
They share the same health benefits, but matcha packs in more nutritional value with 137x more antioxidants than green tea
Matcha is made from the entire leaf, which is shaded and not sunned to increase the chlorophyll and amino acid levels in the leaves

I recently got Four Sigmatic’s Mushroom Matcha Drink Mix
I am still working on perfecting my recipe, but when I get it down I will share it with you
