Who doesn’t? It the start of a new decade, new opportunities, a new, fresh start. But before we jump in, here are some tips that you can use to make real, long lasting changes.
People all over the world have a goal to ‘lose weight.’ They want to drop 5, 10, 20 bs or more to get to their goal weight.
But what will this ‘goal weight’ mean?
When we peel back the layers a little we can find true goal. To feel better, look better, have more energy to play with their kids. This is part of the WHY to your goal. This is what is missing from people’s goals and when we are not connected to our why we are more easily drawn into instant gratification traps. But there is more that is whack with our mainstream goal setting. More on that in a little.
Reality is you do not need to wait for 2020 or any New Year to roll around to start. You can start any day. You have the power to make a change at any moment, there are no rules that say you have to wait.
You can find the beauty in your present life and be grateful and happy, but you can desire and vision a life with more (X,Y, Z) AND you shouldn’t feel guilty. You can find the happy in the now by choosing to find (and create) feel good thoughts, feelings and emotions. Even if the thought is ‘I am hopeful that I can find a happier thought in this situation.’
When you are on your health journey, lead with inspiration, curiosity and wonder and you WILL enjoy the process. You will be inspired everyday to grow further beyond your wildest dreams.
oh and on that note- reach for bigger goals. Why set boring, realistic goals? so we can stay safe and the same? what is the point? Set goals that are so big that one day when you reach them you will say that you are living your wildest dream.
Anything is possible, we just hold ourselves back and limit our potentials so we think that it is not.

Practice faith and certainty in the outcome. When you are certain of the outcome (your goal) you can put worry and anxiety of the ‘how’ aside. With faith, you have trust that you will be supported and guided towards your goal.

You actually do have so much more power that you think you do (or know at the moment). Find a program or coach that aligns with the highest version of you and work with them to find and release blocks, create breakthroughs and moments that will lead you from ‘I believe I can’ to ‘I know I can.’
