If there is ONE thing that I could share with the world during this time for inspiration it would be this:
Focus on what you CAN control during this time
The information I will share here can be applied in so many different ways dependent on YOU. My goal is to empower you with tools that you can apply to not only better your wellness right now, but for the long term (Hint: these “tools” are available to us all, at all times).
SO here we go…
I spoke with a handful of women recently and asked them what would be in the way of their wellness goals & visions becoming a reality. ALL of them said that they were holding themselves back. It mainly came in the form of doubting their abilities and/or a limiting story they were repeating to themselves.
It broke my heart to hear it, but it fires me up to share how to overcome it as I was once ‘stuck’ there myself.
The truth wiLL set you free, literally
Ready for the truth? I’m here to tell ya, ALL the things that you think are holding you back are based on illusions. LITERAL illusions of the mind. The reality is, THERE IS NO BOX you need to stay in. There is no box at all.
The only thing that is holding you back is the BELIEF that there is something holding you back!
‘The box’ is formed over your life based on your experiences & it is formed by what your subconscious mind absorbs as a truth and accepted as a belief (about life, about you, who you are, your personality, etc.). Plus a lil guy called the Ego likes to keep things in check big time. The ego is what makes us human & it is what instinctively keeps us ‘safe.’ it is not a bad thing, but ego-based thinking can keep you playing small & living in fear-big time. Moving past that rabbit hole…
So how do you break out of the ‘box’?
I shared on my Instagram the first steps & a [Level 1] visual, here it is again in case you missed it.
- Become a deliberate thinker by bringing awareness to your ‘I AM’s
- If your ‘I AM’ is limiting you, pause, acknowledge it for what it is- an old truth or story
- Forgive yourself for the thought & let it go
- Get curious. “How can I see this in a different light?,” “How can I create a new empowering ‘I AM’?”
Ready for Level 2?
If it feels good for you to use even stronger empowering statements and accept them as true to you, try upping the ante to Level 2.
Meet yourself where you are in this process, there’s no need to rush through or do it all at once, BUT it does require a decision to start, and you can choose to start NOW.
Because these shifts helped me so much in my own wellness journey, they are now a major part of my coaching program where I help women re-write their own wellness stories!
It’s all about feeling good and living your best life, no matter what is going on around you. You have the control in choosing your ‘I AM’ statements and these statements directly shape how you experience your reality!
